Citizen Police Academies have been a popular Community Policing tool nationwide for years. The Lisbon Police Department, after a few attempts, finally had our first academy class in 2008. Thanks to the efforts of Lt. Dan Michel, as well as the members of the Lisbon Police Department serving as instructors, we have just completed our fourth class in 2011.
